Regardless of the issue, we commit to working with you and your dog until all of your training goals are achieved.
How Professional Dog Training Works
A professional dog training program is designed to resolve canine behavior issues. This process includes teaching the dog new behaviors, such as calm, quiet behavior. New behaviors are best taught away from distractions, and that’s why it’s important to start in the dog’s home environment. This is exactly what we do! No matter the issue, we begin all of our dog training programs in the comfort of the dog’s home.
Once the dog has learned the new behaviors, it’s time to teach the dog how to use this new behavior in “real world” situations. The situations we seek out for training will be full of distractions, but will always be tailored to the dog’s individual needs. At Buckeye Dog Training, our professional dog training programs are specifically designed to make sure our dogs know how to make the right choices in even the most challenging situations!
Before any dog training program can begin, it’s important for the dog trainer to evaluate and observe the dog in its home environment. It’s also just as important to get to know the dog’s family – what their lifestyle is like, what their relationship with the dog is like, and their goals for the dog. Here at Buckeye Dog Training, we will spend time getting to know both you and your dog to make sure we can design a dog training program that works for everyone involved!
